If you are this far and you are still not convinced that Mineral Hygienics has awesome products consider the following as backup. Their products are extremely long lasting and look great on. They also meet my strict needs to be healthy. This is hard to find. As years pass, I’ve become increasingly aware of the toxins that are put into products I use every day and the multitude of diseases that they can, and often do, eventually lead to. If you’re anything like me, you see products that are starting to claim things like “sulfate free”, and even “no formaldehydes.” I may not quite know what a sulfate really is, but I certainly know the word formaldehyde and how toxic and cancer causing that can be.

Let’s talk about the word “natural.” Using this word “natural” on a bottle doesn’t always mean non-toxic. For example…there’s a “natural” ingredient called “octinoxate” that’s in some sunscreens to help filter UV rays. It’s reportedly the most widely used UVB-blocking agent in the skincare industry. There have been a lot of questions raised about its stability and the fact that when exposed to sunlight it’s changed into a less UV-absorbent form. So it’s looking like an ingredient that not only doesn’t protect that way it’s supposed to, but has been linked to thyroid and brain signal problems in lab trials.

So all of this has led me to researching companies and products I feel that I can trust. Companies who care about health and have created products perhaps with their families in mind first. • Toxic chemicals find their way into our bodies, our breast milk and our children. And diseases linked to synthetic chemicals – including breast cancer, testicular cancer and reproductive problems – are on the rise.

These are compelling statistics that I don’t want to ignore.
