I have been using Mineral Hygienics makeup for almost 5 months now and I love it. I originally purchased the makeup because I was breaking out and decided that maybe the makeup would help. I was skeptical at first, but after applying the makeup for the first time, I was in love. The color blended into my skin beautifully and my face looked like it was glowing! I'm not going to lie and say that it covers up every single blemish and scar because it doesn't. But it does an amazing job, especially when compared to all other powder makeup out there. And it looks natural! For once I can wear makeup and feel confident that it doesn't look all cakey and orange. I'm also not going to lie and say that it has cleared up all of my acne, because I am doing several things to help control my acne, but my acne has lessened in the amount of breakouts and the severity of breakouts. Also, I'm a college student so I am up early and
stay up late. I wear my makeup throughout the ENTIRE day and it still looks good at the end of the day - not perfect, but amazingly pretty good. If I would use any other makeup, my face would break out horrible from wearing makeup that long. With this makeup though, the breakouts stay at a minimum - just little small bumps on my chin and nose, but I also have really sensitive skin. So for me, these results are pretty much a miracle! =)

I don't usually write testimonials but feel compelled to with this make up line. Like many of the other reviewers, I've used Bare Minerals and Jane Iredale which were okay but NOTHING like Mineral Hygienics. I would say every positive thing the other reviewers have said and add that the first time I applied the base and blush, I was taken back by the difference.

The coverage is amazing and sooo natural looking and I didn't use very much. My skin had a glow to it (not a shine) that I'd not seen in years. I'm 54 and am lucky to not have many lines and wrinkles but my skin does not look like that of a 30 year old . . . it did ~ after applying this product. I would recommend Mineral Hygienics to anyone.

I think the starter kit is a great way to "get started" as it's all you need. The brushes are very high quality, I was so impressed. As far as choosing a color I will add this, if it helps anyone.
I have fair skin with freckles and chose the medium kit which is perfect for me. The fair would have been too light.

After having spent quite literally, hundreds of pounds throughout my 20's and early 30's searching for the perfect base, I was constantly disappointed, liquid make-up looked great upon application, but slid off my oily skin by lunchtime.
Then I discovered minerals and I loved the way that they lasted longer on my skin, only problem was, no mineral brand was quite 'perfect enough' for me, I'm so picky! they either itched my skin when I sweated (bismuth) or caused cystic acne (combo of bismuth in foundations and carmine in blusher) Or else, the color match was not quite 100% there



I wore the matte version of BE for a while, looked good but my oily skin drank it up within a couple of hours
Then I stumbled across Mineral Hygienics and quite honestly thought I would be wasting more money, but it was the rave reviews and my gut instinct that pushed me to try
the range. OMG! Am I happy that I did! That perfection that I've been searching for all these years has finally arrived, the prince charming of minerals! It has left my skin looking not only amazing with the makeup on, but amazing when I wash it off too! My acne has eased and my skin is smoother, my ever so incredibly oily skin somehow 'holds onto' this foundation ALL day! It literally does not budge from my skin! I have never topped it up throughout the day!
The finishing powder in matte is amazing too! A true translucent that makes my skin look airbrushed! And as for the multi-tasking concealer-WOW! My eyes no longer itch thanks to this amazing concealer! It brightens and yet gives superb coverage, and again, it does NOT budge! It's super smooth like a cream!



I really do believe that there is a Mr. Right for all you gorgeous ladies out there, and this is the make-up equivalent, do not hesitate-I promise you won't ever look back! Thank you for such an amazing brand!

I remember when all my friends were growing passionate for mineral make-up. I allowed them to take me to the department store to receive my “complementary” make-over with a popular mineral make-up company and ended up splurging a tidy sum on a notorious mineral make-up line. Oh, I adored the way my face looked so amazingly smooth and pore less. My imperfections all but vanished under the powdered foundation. Wow, I fell in love with mineral make-up. I recollect getting home and wondering why my face was so irritated and red. I had no idea that it was because of the Bismuth Oxychloride that was in the mineral make-up. After searching endlessly for the right product for my acne-prone skin... whadya know! Mineral Hygienics to the rescue! This product is remarkable at hiding redness and the best part is that I only use a tiny bit! I Swear!! Not even cold water does the trick. Unbelievable.

I hired an independent makeup artist for my wedding day. I had never heard of Mineral Hygienics before, but my makeup artist told me how natural and wonderful their products are. One look in the mirror was all I needed! My skin looked great and I felt beautiful all day!

I am not very experienced with makeup, I was never happy with the results of traditional products I purchased at the store so I mostly gave up on it and only used it occasionally, Mineral Hygienics has made a believer out of me, I can actually wear makeup and look nice. I was so please with how quick I was able to "do up" my face and how well it looked all day. I was really please that it didn't make me look like my face was caked with makeup that just never really matched my skin tone and never gave me that natural look I was looking for.

I am so glad I gave Mineral Hygienics a second chance. After purchasing a Starter Kit and trying it out for a few weeks I was ready to call it quits and try something else. I tried using the "Fair" Foundation (which was too light for me but darker than the "Fairest" that was also included in the Starter Kit). I tried everything but could not get the Foundation to blend. After an hour it started looking bad and within three hours it looked awful! Then I noticed that the "Fair" Foundation seemed to be extremely coarse in comparison to the "Fairest" which was very fine and powdery. So, I took a chance and ordered a "Fairly Light" Foundation (which turned out to be the perfect color for me) and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! This make-up is absolutely perfect for me. I have tried make-up of all prices ranges and this is the absolute first one that does not turn orange on me. I assume I got a "bad batch" the first
time around and hopefully it was just a fluke because I am so thrilled with what I have now. Thank you, Mineral Hygienics!

Well, first off I was surprised when my order arrived a few days after buying - to Ireland! I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin & the only make-up I could use without fear of break-outs was Bare minerals. I'd learned to get used to the dry, itchy feeling that the BE bismuth oxychloride left me with, but the Mineral Hygienics is a whole new ballgame. I'm very happy with the natural coverage it gives me....& best of all I love that I can't feel the make-up on. My face feels very soft, all I can feel is the comfort of my moisturizer.
